In 1917, Walt Disney began attending McKinley High School in Chicago, Illinois. In 1918, before he turned 17, Walt dropped out of high school to join the American Red Cross.

The school closed in 1954, and in 2009 became a public four-year charter high school named ‘Chicago Bulls College Prep.’
